Enable handwriting directly into Bluemix apps. When mobility is important virtual keyboards are hated, and natural language (voice) may not be convenient. Hardware with quality pen support is available from Apple, Microsoft and a number of Android based systems. HMI support for handwriting is currently missing. Watson or apps would gather important data from field notes and forms for instant utilization. The capability cuts across applications and gives a rich input option for mobile workers.

Due to insufficient feedback, there are no current plans to implement this feature.
Rick, I would like a little more specifics in terms of what types of input you are looking to capture. Specifically, what fields do you see a Watson service should support? Should a service support this functionality or should the Bluemix platform support it?
Bluemix as a platform, and a catalog of services, supports discovery of services, provisioning of services, binding services together, and monitoring usage. In our mobile use case, we will allow users to respond to outages. I do see a place where capturing handwriting will be a critical priority.
Would like your thoughts on this.
