Implement a Intellij Idea plugin for rapid deployment and integration of applications with IBM Bluemix

Hi,

Even though Intellij Idea IDE is JetBrains proprietary, it would be nice to have an implementation of a plugin similar to http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/ibm-eclipse-tools-bluemix for this IDE too. The reasons for implementing such a plugin are the following:

  • many developers prefer Intellij Idea IDEA and might frustrate them to need to switch to Eclipse in order to ease their work with Bluemix (please take a look here http://zeroturnaround.com/rebellabs/java-tools-and-technologies-landscape-2016-trends/) 
  • important companies (potential clients) have their developers working only with Intellij Idea IDE.
  • this implementation will increase the awareness of Bluemix among those that have not experienced its benefits yet.
