Bluemix dedicated clients have several use cases in a hybrid cloud environment where they need to implement system integration with their Bluemix PaaS platform. A few examples of integration uses cases are:
- devops (deploy workloads to Bluemix)
- monitoring agents (application, platform)
- testing
- scheduling
When using SAML as the authentication mechanism to Bluemix you can no longer connect to Bluemix through the Cloud Foundry command line interface (SAML does not allow such connectivity) thus you lose all integrations you have developped.
We need a mechanism that allows system integration with Bluemix whatever is the chosen authentication mechanism (LDAP, IBM ID, SAML).
