Problem/pain points: I've been a fan of Bluemix for the last 3 years and patiently been watching it evolve. Every couple of months I come by and try to make a virtual server or a baremetal and most of the times I fail. I started back in 2014 and recognized the fact that it's a new endeavor and it won't be a seamless process.
BUT it being 2017 why in the world is it still so complicated? Why do I need to disable the pop up blocker on every browser? Why do you need pop ups? Why does the Create button redirect to the Dashboard with absolutely no notification? Why can't you just give me a Form and let me accept it directly from the page? There's no backend API? What's the problem?
Only after about 45 minutes with live support did they tell me, oh you might have to disable your pop up blocker too. After hearing that Bluemix might not work with Chrome and Safari, that I might have to use Firefox.
I've attached a screen recording of the pain points and competitors workflow.
Current workaround: Leave and start a virtual machine somewhere/anywhere else in 1 minute... probably an hour faster than it takes to troubleshoot this. ; Proposed Solution: Remove the freaking pop ups.
