It is common cost saving architecture in large SAP HANA deployments to enable dual use of HANA systems and QA and DR.
In this scenario the QA box is running in the DR DC and additionally receives the life data replication of the prod environment.
So the box needs to provide same RAM size as Production but usually double the storage.

Choosing a high-quality storage box like under tray tool boxes is essential, as containers take a lot of pressure when stacked. Moreover, they should be stackable, so it's best to stack lighter boxes instead of heavier boxes. The vertical space between boxes should also be utilized wisely. The containers should also have labels that warn you not to place fragile items on top.
Another essential feature of a storage box is its ability to protect items from moisture and dust. It is also possible to find special packages designed for certain things. These boxes are available in plastic and cardboard. They are especially suitable for storing items that are difficult to pack. They are more expensive than the usual boxes but come with the added advantage of convenience and security.
Additional storage can be added to any server in two methods:
1. Additional SSD can be added until all disk slots are full. This is done via ticket.
2. Additional Endurance storage at 10 iops/gb can be ordered, provisioned, and attached.
