We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and vote them if they matter to you
Post an idea
Vote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
For more information on this idea portal, see this Think-Write-Submit blog.

We use the ressource group mechanism as a way to create specific cost centre.
with the current way of working, the interface don't allow to select the ressource group associated to the cloudant service. The cloudant service is created in a default group. The real problem is that it is impossible to move a service from one ressoruce group to an other.

Marceau, there seems to be an obsolete Node-Red starter in the catalog. We will have that updated soon. For now, the workaround is to find the latest starter through the left navigation menu Web Apps > Starter Kits > Node-RED. The latest starter allows you to select the resource group.
It is true that we can select the ressource groupe associated with the cloudant service.
Meanwhile, if you select directly from search bar node-red starterkit you obtain a screen where it is not possible to select the ressource group for the cloudant service.
Let me know is you share the point
Thanks for taking the time to submit this request. The capability to select a resource group for a Cloudant instance from the Node Red starter kit has been implemented. Please check it out and submit another request if it does not meet your needs.
