We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and vote them if they matter to you
Post an idea
Vote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
For more information on this idea portal, see this Think-Write-Submit blog.

In the DNS Specifications, Bluemix Local has 3 wildcard redirects: bluemix.net, mybluemix.net, and custom.
A client is requesting to be able to replace the bluemix.net DNS by its own such mycompany.cloud.net
This client is asking because this is a blocking point due to their proxy policy.

Thanks everyone for submitting this idea. This is still under consideration for Bluemix Local.
We will not be implementing this for Bluemix Dedicated. This feature is incompatible with both our strategic and technical direction going forward.
Is this similar to IDEA-I-23?
Lionel - what is the customer's proxy policy specifically? Why would they specifically want to block the bluemix.net entry but not the mybluemix.net entry? Why does the custom redirect not suffice?
Thanks Lionel. This is a known requirement and we have it prioritized in our backlog. We are working with our Cloud Foundry team to bring this requirement through open source in order to deliver on this. Thanks for adding your input.
