Block storage volume snapshots for VPC Openshift PVCs

For Openshift VPC we mostly use Block Storage due to better performance.
But is pretty needed to have a backup mechanism to safeguard our data in case of unexpected dissaster.

    Snapshots for block volumes exist today. Is that not sufficient? Is there something else being requested?
