When creating a new event subscription of type COS: we can use prefix for files to trigger actions. It would be more useful to use regex instead of (or in addition to) prefix.
It would allow me to decrease the number of event subscription that I need as my COS follows a patern where the prefix and suffix are different but the middle part is the same:
For instance:
/aaa/arrival/payin==> Should trigger the ES
/bbb/arrival/payout ==> Should trigger the ES
/bbb/arrival/payin ==> Should not trigger the ES !
/ccc/arrival/payout ==> Should trigger the ES

Cloud Object Store team is reviewing the request. We (Code Engine) are dependent on their implementation. Assigning the idea to COS team to comment further and take this forward.
Likely no developer bandwidth in the COS team to get this done in 2025. Moving this to "Future Consideration" and will update here in case of news.
Still under review (discussion with Cloud Object Store team). Hope to have an update in 2 weeks.
Thank you for your submission, can you confirm which cloud service this request is for? Is it for the Event Notifications service (https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/event-notifications?topic=event-notifications-getting-started) ?
