Create a curl-based script to port IBM Cloud CLI to IBM i and AIX

We want to automate some IBM i and AIX tasks, specially for DR purposes:

* GRS operation: Verify, run actions ...
* Export an LPAR using scripts , for backup purposes
* Take a Snapshot
* Get the web-console URL
* Retrieve status and values from within the instance
* Maybe add some disks

An IBM Cloud CLI based on a shell script and curl could run in almost any platform, including IBM i and AIX.

We have tried to create something similar, but is not an easy task. 
Do you have an example to:

Login -> Set the region and target PowerVS Workspace -> Run the command -> Get the status ?

If you can provide at least a script like this, we could write the remaining commands based on this sample code.
