Notify IBM Cloud customers in advance when the SSL/TLS certificate for iam.cloud.ibm.com is to be changed

A customer had an issue that one of the IBM Cloud services was not working because the root CA of the SSL/TLS certificate for iam.cloud.ibm.com changed from Digicert G1 to Digicert G3. It was resolved by the customer by adding the root and intermediate certificates in order to align their application with the new trust chain.

Had there been a prior announcement the customer could have taken necessary actions in advance which would avoid outage. Therefore, I request here that IBM Cloud start notifying the customers of such certificate changes in advance.

The notification should include the specific actions required  and the due date.

(Note : The certificate updates is managed by not IBM but a third party CDN vendor Akamai. Therefore, IBM needs to collaborate with Akamai to implement this solution.)
