Login assertion could be a defined set of rules that allows the user to move on to the next step of the login process when stuck. This would prevent a user who already has an IBM account from getting stuck at the account login page. The login assertion would be defined as a magic link that recognizes that it's own system or process is stuck in the login phase and issues a two part response. 1. To the IBM dev team. 2. The user is notified via their preferred communications channel. IE; a text message from watson. Were you trying to log in? Y/N to gain access. OR; An email from watson: "Here's your temporary login link. If this wasn't you, Click Here." Whereas the dev team is notified of both a bottle neck in the login process or the potential adverse action of an account.
