Currently, the only way to bring Dynatrace into the environment, is through a CUPS service, and we have to use the community buildpack in Cloud Foundry to detect this. (I have another feature requesting to add the agent to the IBM SDK as well)
Today, I found out that at the logging level, since we use Dedicated, we can configure the Loggregator to pipe logging messages to our ELK stack on prem, so we don't need to create CUPS services for each of our applications. Would the same thing essentially be possible for Dynatrace? Could we have it configured to also pipe the metrics to a Dynatrace Managed cluster on prem? So we spin up applications/instances and are detected?
Thanks!
