Reduce need to re authenticate when 2 factor is enabled

We are using 2 factor authentication to sign in to IBMs cloud. This is enabled both for the web ui and for the cli. Our team uses an authenticator app for the second factor.

This authentication setup requires re-authentication too often. I am unsure what the timeout is, but it seems to be as low as 15 minutes. This can mean having to re authenticate (enter in the 2 factor code from the app) dozens of times in a single day.

This request is to implement a method to reduce that. Weather it's a "trust this device" checkbox that only requires entering in the 2 factor token once every 30 days per device, increasing the 2 factor validity to 8 hours, or some other mechanism. Please reduce the need to re authenticate with 2 factor so often.
