Create a couple of VSIs, one with IBM i, and one with AIX for public access with self learning purposes

For training purposes in our Telegram group "IBM i en Español" I have a free hosted IBM i LPAR in Mexico so all users can ask for access and test their programs, refresh their knowledge or follow tutorials to learn about this amazing OS.

Pub400.com is actually a public and free IBM i hosted in Germany with thousand of active users, and this represents money and effort to keep the LPAR running 24/7.

In both cases we are talking about 1 LPAR with limited space , some authority restrictions and some rules, so the system can keep going.

My request: Please, create a free service like this, just 1 PowerVS VSI with IBM i and 1 with AIX, so students, developers and users can learn, practice and teach about these marvelous OSs.

Details:

We usually ask users to provide email and a whatsapp number, so we can contact them in case of maintenance. You can create a registration form, so you allow people you trust.

We also use OpenVPN to restrict access (just a 90USD VSI with LinuxPPC) , or you can publish the LPARs, if you feel comfortable with that. VPN allows to block all other traffic, like Telnet or SSH, and disable users easily.

We provide *PGMR authorities, one library and access to /home/$USERPROFILE with *EXCLUDE authorities. They can create more libraries, but you can block them from that.

Management is minimal, with the right guidance (we have a quick setup guide) and you can use this to also promote Power Virtual Service.
