IBM Cloud - Structured Ideas

Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and vote them if they matter to you.

  1. To post a new idea - select "Add a new idea" and where asked select the appropriate category this idea relates to. Provide requested information to allow us to get a better understanding of your request.

  2. Vote ideas that matter most to you.

  3. Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea.

Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests

The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notifications on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

NOTE: All IBM employees must enter Ideas through this Ideas Portal.

Exporting the report once the case is resolved

Hello IBM,

We do raise cases with IBM to resolved the issues which connects to APIC. But once the issue is resolved we are not able to export the entire ticket updates. We required this for our future reference if the same issue occur and we can go through the old ticket details. so that if we can take our action or have an idea before we raise case if any.

So it would be helpful if we could export it in pdf format of the ticket with all the actions taken by us and IBM. On the other hand once the ticket s resolved if IBM support can export and attached the file in that particular ticket.

Dear Colleagues, In addition to my previous comments and for your information, there was a support case CS2074513 open in this regard, in which the client is sharing a screenshot of the csv. file. for two results
"when I click on "exporting a ticket in CSV". Downloading a single ticket shows nothing meaningful in cell A1. The second one just gives a brief overview of the tickets but not the all the entries of the tickets."
Thank you again for your kind consideration, Best Regards, Carole

Thank you Sneha for sharing this idea. My premium support client client is also requesting to be able to export a Cloud Support case under a pdf format, even though it is already available as a csv format. Thank you again. Best Regards, Carole
